Throttle body trumpets - need some short ones.....

Anybody know where I can get some short-ish trumpets for ITB's I have on my 347? Currently, the trumpets are probably too tall to fit in the available space.

As cool as the tall trumpets look, I'm going to have to replace them with something shorter. Anyone know where short trumpets like in the pic below can be acquired?

If your search for shorter trumpets proves fruitless...and you'd prefer the tall trumpets anyway...you might consider a 3rd option:

Yeah... I know that. 'Just not sure which V8 the specific unit above fits...'not necessary to know...'just wanted a photo illustrating the "3rd option".

Yup, thanks, it's a good idea - I did look at some of the "side draft" options like the Borla and others....and it's a good option. At this point I'd like to try to make the down draft ITBs work since I've got a ton of time and money into it. Everything works well - the engine runs great - just need to lower the overall height by about 3/4 inch.....which isn't much, but necessary to be able to squeeze everything under the rear hatch and cover. Just hoping to be able to do that with shorter trumpets.

They seem to do so me though I don’t know if they are the same spacing for bolts as you have

I do not think that the Borlas will work since the bolt pattern may be different. My 58mm Borla on a Dart 401 Windsor and my Harrop Hurricane 58mm cross ram on a LS3 pictured below. I think that you can get different sizes of throttle bodies for either setup.

I have the same throttle bodies and have some rubbibg on my hood. I looked around for options, Speedmaster who markets the throttle bodies was no help. I'm considering taking the ones I have to a machine shop and have them cut down.

Cliff - which brand of ITBs are you using, and what's the bolt pattern?

Shortest I see is 15mm
