TBF the pants thing had a real reason - wrong size clothing at prisons that didn’t fit right.

What’s the reason for stance? I can’t think of one.

To make the car feel like it's doing 150 mph when it's only doing 30 mph.

Hey, Doc - there's a high-healed woman's shoe like the one in the photo located just off the 'Strip' entrance to the Cosmopolitan Hotel Casino in 'Vegas that you might be able talk 'em out of and use in a similar project!

Good luck!

(I seem to recall a couple of others like it in other locations inside the place.)

I hate low profile tires and it seems to join that club your obliged to park your car hard against the curb and even bend the rims in the process. However one thing I would like to see is a tyre manufacturer who makes tires with say 15" outer bead dia and say 19 or 20 inner bead dia. That would allow larger brakes etc while maintaining the 'classic 15'' higher sidewall look from outside. I wrote to a couple of manufactures, Hoosier & Goodyear IIRC, No answer. Tire fitment would be easier-only the outer bead to fight with.

I generally find that the larger the wheel, the tougher the work around the bead is.. Great idea, Jac!

ask the Renault dealers in Europe about special rim and tires with the introduction of the "paxx tyre" on the Renault scenic in 2003 outer rim smaller than inner rim special tyre with 2 different dimension , and obligation of every Renault dealer to purchase special tyre machine....at a very high price.....to stand rusting away now in one corner of the w/shop and it s the same history as the famous trx tyre in mm size from Michelin in the 1980.... total failure also ...

That's a very interesting idea Jac.

There may be an issue with the the greater amount of sidewall to flex on the outside making it possible that a hard turn would make it possible for the inside wheel (of the turn) to pop the bead from the wheel deflating it.
