Any update on this? how many APEX were sold? Fran was offering a pretty sweet deal for the first 10 I believe. Please keep this thread alive. I have not given up on this project yet, I still have a fully built 4g63 long block with about 8k$ in it waiting in my garage.
If its not a RCR Product I'm out... Sorry. I love the APEX and I just purchased an awesome partial donor, but RCR is the only component car Cie I would trust with my money...
Easiest fix for your clutch need is to call Tim @ TMZ. I pers have the Southbend ceramic clutch with the act chromo FW and love the combo, very street friendly.
With a well prepped head with aftermarket valve train 9k is very easy... On my setup I have the redline set at 8750 for good measures. The main issue when you rev that high becomes having to much oil stuck in the head and not enough left to lubricate your bearings.

Mr. Wolf your absolutely right, my understanding is that it has a significant effect when you considerably change the offset up front (you shouldn't have bump steer in back...). I was assuming you were going for the deep dish wheels on all 4.
From my limited suspension geometry knowledge, changing your offset to get that more aggressive look will potentially increase your scrub radius which will amplify bump steer. In other word it will negatively affect your handling, you will have to fight with the car to keep it where you want...
I might be a pessimist but I think It will take me closer to 500 hrs to do mine. I have been reading on the FFR forum for quite a while and a cobra build with 500 hrs is nothing special. From what I have read, the cobra is quite simple to put together but door alignment, gap fitting, body work...
