    RF GT40 Build Update

Hersh, That is one of the nicest things I've heard, in a long time, that on person has done for another. Just coming out to some one's hous and volunteering you time to help some one else realize their dreams is philanthropy at it's best. Yer a good good guy. Doug

    Chassis Drawings/Blueprints

Looks great. If you are ever able to release that info I'd like a copy. I've been wanting to make a 1/12th scale GT40. I've been thinking that if I can't finish a 1/12th scale model I'll never be able to make a fullsize one. Thanks, Doug

Where is the Factory Five of GT40s?

Tornado is, as far as I know, doing just fine. They have proven it can be done. It's amazing that a bunch of Americans can't do what socialist's (please, no offense to our friends across the sea-but I'm trying to make a point here ) have been doing for years. Maybe you're right. Maybe...

Where is the Factory Five of GT40s?

When I worked at a bike shop we sold several manufacturers of bikes. We had top line bikes like Eddie Merckx and Cinelli that started at $2K with components like Campagnolo and Dura Ace. (Trust me these are the best components.)These were the ERAs of the bike world. We had Schwinns that had...

Where is the Factory Five of GT40s?

Both of those cars have an increase in price here in the US for similar reasons. NZ's car will cost you $3-5 K to have it shipped here. The Tornado has the same problem also when the US distributor was around they had to mark it up to make money for themselves. American manufactures cars cost...

Where is the Factory Five of GT40s?

Hey, I COMPLETELY agree with Mike D and Meat. Some one can and should make an American GT40 in the price range of Tornado or NZ. If an enterprising American did it would be a a huge seller. I know I'd buy one. Doug

Hey, Chris, I know you've posted the price before, but how are you offering your body kit for? And, what sort of windshield (or whatever you guys in England call windshields fit it. Jim and Kalun, how are youcars progressing? Do you have any new photos to share? Love to see em. Doug

    Wrecked GT40

That's just not right. I wonder if insurance would cover something like that? Probably not. What a shame. Doug

A New U.S. GT40 manufacturer throw hat in the ring !!

I love it. Does any one have any knowledge of Glass Snake's Cobra? They said they are working on plugs and molds now. I wonder if they are making their own body from scratch or are basing their GT40 on previous molds or body? Like KVA or an original GT40. It would be very interesting if they...

Building GT40 Mark I from scratch

That's great Chris! You're body panels are a great price as well. I don't know how you do it but bless you for doing it. Would it fit a replica chassis? March 2003, huh? That's my birthday. Maybe, my wife will take pity on me and allow me to get one of your GT40 bodies... Well, I can hope...

    BIG small GT40

I was just thinking about doing something just like this. I've seen a few 1/12th Mk II and Mk IVs on Ebay. They go for about $400 to $500. I'm now thinking about making my own 1/12th from scratch. I'd try to make just about everything from brake lines and wiring to the monocoque chassis. I...

Building GT40 Mark I from scratch

Hey Chris, Are you saying that your body is more accurate than most of the replicas out there? I know most are based on the KVA molds that are a originally Mk III molds that were altered to look like a Mk I but are "not quite right" when put next to a real Mk I. Doug
