Why not combine it with a standalone ECU that is much simpler and at least allows you tuning etc? If you are on a budget you could even go with a Megasquirt.

Howard, Definitely an interesting build - modern looks with an old school carbed engine. Should sound bad ass too with that cam! I am guessing that the SBC has the ports in a different location that the LSx. Does Fran have different headers available or will you be supplying your own...

Don't forget that with the LS9 you would have to figure something out for the pully that drives the supercharger. This has been discussed on the GTM forum which also uses the LSx with a reversed intake. One of the guys there was going to put on a Magnacharger, not sure if he did it in the end.

Ebay Germany is probably your best bet. What is it that makes you prefer the 2.7 over a LSx engine? $$/HP you are going to be so far ahead by starting with eg an LS3, NA is simpler and probably weighs less, too. Plus it's a tried and tested package that RCR can provide you help with.

Wow... The black SLC looks about as bad ass as a car is gonna get. Hadn't considered one as a future build before but I will definitely be following it more closely now. Can't wait to see what some of your customers are going to make out of them!

Fran, Has there been any demand to support the Audi/VW 1.8T engine? Not sure how popular this engine is in the States, but it is very plentiful in Europe. Lots of aftermarket support for it and a nice package with 180-300+ HP. Lukas

I think your biggest problem will be connecting the tranny computer with the LSx engine. Since the tiptronic is still basically an auto transmission, it will somehow have to know engine RPM, load etc to figure out when to shift. Trying to interface Porsche electronics with a GM engine is...
