    Facet Fuel Pumps

To add to this conversation. We have #153 (which is actually a BDRGT) here that we maintain for the owner. We have struggled to get higher (and necessary fuel pressures) from the CAV factory system for years. We finally gave up this week and have replaced the entire system with fantastic...

AJ, Glad to hear the car is atleast in your garage now. Hear you have a laundry list of "undones" or things that need addressing. Bring it by so we can assess.

The spec on bumpers is written so that any steel structure under the "skin" of the car body can be accepted as a bumper. Of course a different inspector on a different day can use that at their leisure for interpretation. I think a bolt on unit for the rear would be the only "gotcha" if any...

Pat, Great idea. We are planning a new side window material (with some tint) and I will have some brackets laser cut for the area. Will also offer them in the store. Thanks

Mirror goes in body on one mount and into the plexi on the other. It is quite durable this way. And the mirrors are amazingly light, they are for F1 cars.

    New Gt40 build

I still don't know how you got the Roush FEAD to clear the factory tab on the CAV monocoque that mounts the upper section of the rear upright? Did you grind on the CAV part? We could not get enough clearance out of the Roush bracket and it would have meant going too deep on the alternator too...
