01e trans axel with quail ATB oil

Hi all it’s probably a question previously answers in the forums but would like some input from peoples experience on gearbox oil grade and brands people have tried?
Also oil level -is it just to the fill plug with the box level?
My box is an 01e with wider 1st gear and quaff ATB diff

side note what is the 1st gear you have and where was it from? The 1/2 gears are part of the input shaft on the 01e’s aren’t they?

Early 01E's had 2 different gears available in a 01E depending on the case used after the wider 1st gear appeared in late Audi S2’s, Audi dropped the earlier narrow-geared versions. B6 will have the wider first gear.
