I guess you will be in contact with us shortly about delivering images to you. Two queries; Firstly what about images for a montage; this would adress the issue of pixellation if a given jpeg is blown up too large. Secondly if the prints are generated in London is the venue near a conveniet tube station; useful for those of us who are frequently in the City on business but who live some way away.

I spoke to a professional photographer today about this.

To do a 10 x 10ft print you are looking at about 40mp upwards
40mp will look pixilated close up but further away look reasonable. He could mnage this on best resolution on his camera kit.

But to get a proper sized file he would suggest a 5" x7" high quality transparancy (Large format to the old photo people) and then scanned and done to about 100mp

He was really interested in the printing kit - pity I could not give hime more details.

Yes he would take photos for people but £££££ Studia £900 for a day £500 for lighting £10 each shutter press- yes great shots but a lot of cash. Outside "beach front" type rear scene with his top digital kit could be organised a lot cheaper! As I say a professional photographer!

He may be able to get talked into a club event and as amotor head a few miles in a 40 will probably reduce his charge
