Be very intersting to see the results on a chassis dyno now that you've got the "flywheel" numbers from the engine dyno.

Ron

great numbers at 1.63hp/cid. you must have had weber experience to get these numbers . most could not have chosen good cam profile, etc. good going. should be enough for "passing reserve".

289, seems like a nice engine. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif Would you like to post cam and valvetrain info? Regards

Cam specs:
duration @.050 IN 262 EX268
lobe separation 112.0
valve lift IN .580 EX .553
flat tappet cam with roller crower SS roller rockers designed by Buddy Rawls on engine specs and head flox figures
About jetting only wat to get these results is on Superflow dyno with printed A/F ratio via a Motec lambda and a lot of emulton tubes and main and air jets!!

Hi there ...was just wondering if you could possibly give me your thoughts on the EX268 Comp Cam grind you had in this build... Am thinking of the same for my SBF 347 stroker...
Many thanks

Yup saw it was an old thread Brian... thought it was worth a shot....the engine looked like he was making decent power so the cam would have been under load so his experience would have been interesting but I failed to see his last sign in...l..thanks for pointing this out...
