Using the Internet Wayback Machine you can go online and find how most any site used to be in years gone by. I thought check out GT40s.com and post here for the amusement of older members and benefit of new members.

Dec 2001 - 243 members, six months after going live in the summer of 2001

Late 2002 - a few more people and more forums. Even in the early stages we were focued on GT40s/tech and not a lot of BS, as the entrance paragraph tells you!

Welcome to GT40s.com! This is not a BS forum - stick to the topics and no flame wars, no BB vs. SB every week or you'll be ejected. The quickest way into the action is to click the "Today's Active Topics" at the upper right. Enjoy!

Late 2003 - 1100 members and a lot more forums
http://web.archive.org/web/20031207092546/www.gt40s.com/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php

Late 2004 - Starting to look "modern" - and Cluttered!
http://web.archive.org/web/20041206151428/www.gt40s.com/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php/Cat/0

Late 2005 - Lots of forums, some banner advertisements, and 2000+ members
http://web.archive.org/web/20051230090827/www.gt40s.com/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php/Cat/0

And of course in 2006 we went to vBulletin from UBBThreads and have the current forum.

We've come a long way!

I recall somebody mentioning the Internet Wayback Machine, but until now had never used it. Yup, definitely very cool! Thanks Ron!
