If that's the car I think it is, it's been around for awhile, and as I recall, the front end was damaged a lot more than "minor". With the tub badly damaged.

yeah I've seen it for at least a year for sale. It appeared like the car went off the track and into grass and brush, putting a little torque on the front clam-shell and scraping paint off, but only cosmetic and not structural, but it looks like I was wrong.

From that comment it sounds like the whole front clam-shell needs to be replaced and possibly some frame alignment to do it correctly?
That is a major job indeed.
If so, I have no followup questions.
