1 - With a master disconnect switch, is it better to have it on the positive, negative, or doesn't matter?

2 - Does anybody sell any sealed power distribution blocks/poles (i.e., a place where you can gang several positive connections together, but it's sealed/covered - everything I've seen/am aware of is basically left in the open)

I believe cutting the negative is the better choice.

And for a non covered connectot try an exhaust hanging bobin. 2 bolts insulated by rubber. Like this

Thanks Ian. Actually, from googling around I found what I was looking for
