Belgium calling

Hoi,

Good to have a new GT40 enthusiast on this forum! What rolling chassis did you buy? There are many types and versions. For every type specific knowledge or expertise might be required. It also helps if you provide an insight in what you want to achieve.
The more details you provide, the better help can be provided.

Good luck with your project!

Regards, Bart

From your explanation I think you may have a DAX as John Tojero did the suspension on that.

I had one and the build log is here

If it is a DAX 2 easy ways to see if it is…..the rear trailing link suspension arms go almost straight forward, GTD etc are mounted inboard in line with the rear inner suspension pick up points

The body at the front of the rear clip as it is called the distance from the base to the start of the air scoop is about 100mm other bodywork this can be about 50mm

They did not do a build manual for the DAX but on this site people have the GTD manual which was a good reference guide.

Ian

Hi Kris,
Welcome to this forum!
Here can find (almost) all the help you need.
There is not ONE way to build, they are all different.
If I can be of any help, just let me know.
I leave not far away from the Belgium border, but it all depends on where you live in Belgium.
