As a response to the tedium of the British winter, Christmas, Olympics etc. I have escaped into the alternative and welcome netherworld of the YouTube comedy clip. Here are a couple that helped to brighten my day. May they and others which may get posted lighten your despond and elicit a smile or two.

My favorite things (come on, you know the tune)

Bugs on my windshield scraped and then fried up
Grub worms and mealworms first must be dried up
When ****hits the fan let the dinner bell ring
These are a few of my favorite things

Desperate for food I must be to eat road kill
Boiled in stagnant pond water with microbe pills
Cuz if I don't, the bacteria fowl
Would make a watery mess of my bowels

When the world frowns and the grids down
And hungry I am
I simply dig out all my favorite things
So I don't have to eeeeeeeat the Spam!

Ok, I'll stop now.
