Fettlin' has begun and the chassis is actually in very good nick (apart from the gearbox tunnel which is soon to be cut out.

Anybody know anybody that has a 'Libra' cobra circa 1980's???? I think Im going to have to calc the rear geomerty myself.

Once the rear axle is on we have a roller....

Photos tomorrow... this is THE way to remove surface rust.... stick it in an angle grinder...remember to respect your power tools.... gloves, toe-teckers n eye protection...

Fettlin' in progress.... its amazing how the chassis has come up after derusting and painting with red oxide. Seems most of the rust was 'blown' powdercoat, the metal is sound.

Some areas particularly around the front suspension needs elbow grease and a wire brush...
