I could not find the Motogp thread, The search engine and me don't get along, hence this thread.

Congratulations to Valentino Rossi, looks like he has this years World Championship Moto sewn up and he has equaled the 68 major victories set so long ago by the master Agostini.

Damn i missed it..... but Rossi's the man, i love the fact he'd rather fight for the win than walk it, the guy loves a real out and out scrap in the race, and some of the overtaking manouvers with Pedrosa last year.... whoa, it looked like there was only mm's between them on some corners.

Briliant to watch!!

Pretty amazing talent !!! But the Duc of Stoner still ran well !!

Dom

Stoner had it in the bag on practice and qualifying times around .4 .5 of a second quicker than anyone else. But he has dropped the thing in the last couple of races and on each time it seemed to surprise him. Meaning he seemed to be very comfortable and not pushing too hard and the front end lets go. Tire issues?

I was there last weekend and nearly all adriatic coast was with the doctor (had a dinner with parents in Tavullia and in Cattolica).
No way to reach the track (Misano is very small),but wherever u go was a yellow 46 all over.
Missed to salute Valentino for 3 minutes, cause in friday he was in the same pub I was.
Too sad for Casey, nobody knows what happens, probably stress..or simply thats racing.
He is a too great champion too anyway.

Casey Stoner came out all guns blazing in the first MotoGP session at Phillip Island.

Home rider Casey Stoner showed no signs of dejection following the relinquishing of his MotoGP world title as he returned home to Phillip Island, the Australian putting down the fastest time of the first MotoGP session Down Under.
The Ducati rider and 2007 racewinner at the Australian Grand Prix stopped the clock at 1´30.094, nearly seven-tenths of a second faster than newly crowned World Champion Valentino Rossi –second quickest in the session.
A big fan of the Phillip Island circuit from his time in 250cc, Alex de Angelis recorded the third fastest time of the run onboard his San Carlo Honda Gresini machine. The San Marino rider was nearly a full second down on Stoner´s marker, but just two-hundredths of a second ahead of fellow MotoGP rookie Andrea Dovizioso.
Honda trio Randy de Puniet, Dani Pedrosa and Shinya Nakano –plus Yamaha rider Jorge Lorenzo and Suzuki veteran Loris Capirossi- were all within two-tenths of a second of each other in a top ten completed by James Toseland.
