I was happy finding and buying this advert on ebay in 2011.
It's a original page from a magazine from 1965.
And I do think it's GT/103

Only name I can come up with after looking at many team pics is 'Jerry Bondio', but thats a pure guess and the pic does not fit with time frame of the advert photo. Im sure the pic is after the Miles/McLaren Sebring Prototype win with #11 as the front winglets are painted whereas they are/were bare aluminum during previous Daytona testing and race.

I would say it is just before Sebring, as it had some additional stickers applied to the flanks for the race. These same stickers were also on it for the Lemans test later on in the season.
Chassis GT103 was numbered #73 in Daytona 28/02/65, #11 for Sebring 27/03/65, #11 at Lemans Trials 10/04/65, #69 at Monza 25/04/65, and #12 for Nuremburg 23/05/65

At Nuremburg #11 was chassis GT104, and both 103 and 104 ran without the additional sponsorship.

chassis #103 had the two roundel lights on the drivers door.
chassis #104 only had a single roundel light on the drivers door.

There are also photos of the same car sitting in the same position / front wheels in the same rotation/angle where it has been stickered up with the Shell/Autolite/Goodyear and something else stickers. Not sure what the 4th sticker closest to the wheel says.
It looks like Phil Remington is in this photo.

Chassis GT104 has an additional hole in the B pillar on the right had side just above the lower vent.
the hole is evident in the phots of #11 at Nuremburg and remains to this day on chassis GT104.
GT103 does not have this hole.

103 has the electrical cut off switch (i think thats what it is) in the duct on the b pillar, whilst 104 has it above the duct on the b pillar.

for the Nuremberg race, I believe the sponsorship was still there, but it was taped over or covered with paint that was a close but not exact match for the body color. You can make out where the Shell rectangle was on the door in a few of the photos.

Are you sure about that
"Nuremberg race"? that is the Norrisring, not the Nurburgring.

Neil, I am, not sure on the Nuremburg thing. I thought it was all the one place, but I think I need to research it more.

The "Norrisring" actually runs through the old Nazi Party Rally Grounds and through the Zepplin Field, where the big parades and reviews for Hitler were held in the 1930s. We (Frankfurt American High School) used to play Nuremberg
