D3 Heads

Does anyone have experience with the Ford High Port D3 heads? They got a great tech review here The flow bench results of the D3 Head - Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords but at $6,000+ a pair, even for 840 HP, I wonder if it’s worth it for anything less than full sponsored NASCAR racing?

 

sorry, stayed low tech with "old" c3's. 435" windsor with 10.5 cr and fairly mild hyd roller got 649 bhp at 6300 with single 4bbl holley. carl wegner built the engine for me. great guys.

Impressive. Do you happen to have the cam specs from this motor?

not with me, out of town right now. it's a hydraulic roller. getting lazy. imho, d3s would me not an advantage in street or track day use, only a full on race effort.

when i get home, i'll post the cam info and a dyno chart.
