My friend Jon Lundburg sent me an e-mail:
Today I learned that my friend, Ed Iskenderian (Isky), passed on Monday at 105. I ran one of his cams in my flathead as a teenager. Finally met him in 1963 when I was a ride along with the "Glass Chariot" AAF/MR on its first trip to the March Meet. Once Ed learned my family had a screw machine factory, we were friends and he called me - as he did many others - "pal". Anytime, any place we'd meet, always "pal". I go to bed this night, teary-eyed. May the spirit of Ed Iskenderian forever soar with the angels. Amen.
For those not familiar with the name, Ed was a pillar of the early hot rod community in the US. He was principally known as a cam grinder but he was active in many charities and activities- a thoroughly nice fellow.
