Four on Ebay

Am I right in thinking the US spec cars are different to the UK/European spec cars?
If these are US spec then surely it would be VERY difficuly/expensive to get them through the UK's SVA?

Just got this from the seller

"The car is totally US spec, so any conversions will have to be made by the buyer. I appreciate the question, and thanks for looking at the auction.
-C.Douglas"

'spensive then.....

His feedback amused me - he's sold a few little computer parts for about a tenner each and now suddenly he's trying to drop a million quid's worth of Ford Gt's !

So that's a very healthy premium, shipping costs, 17.5% VAT PLUS car tax PLUS the uncertainty of ever hauling it through the SVA (which hardly bears thinking about) so maybe I'll pass, thanks......

Nice to see that Ford management made their choice wisely on people who would promote the brand by driving the cars and not sell them to get a quick buck.....

Very true Brett - now if they had just sold me a GT I could not have sold it on - because after selling my house to buy the thing in the first place I would have had to live in it ...

I am absolutely stunned to see that people are using sarcasm on this forum, especially when talking about the good people at Ford management.

I am told Ford managed the European homologation process through their UK Dunton and Cologne tech centres.
