Many of you in the UK may have already seen this. I just received it today and I cannot vouch for any authenticity, but if it has any foundation and it stops one of us who might not have read it being caught then thats fine.

PARCEL DELIVERY SERVICE (PDS)
A number of reports have been received concerning a scam that involves the above ‘company’:-A card is posted through your door that suggests that they tried but were unable to deliver a parcel. In order to collect this parcel they ask that you contact them on 0906 6611911 ( a premium rate number). According to the Trading Standards Office this is a mail scam that originates from Belize and if you call the number you could end up incurring hefty costs for the call. It is reported that unsuspecting callers have contacted this number and even though they have hung up at the commencement of a recorded message have still received bills of £15 for the phone call.If you receive a card with the above details then you should contact the Royal Mail Fraud line on 0207-239-6655 or you can contact ICSTIS the body that regulates the premium rate service at www.icstis.org.uk, who are currently investigating PDS. You can also contact your local Trading Standards office
