I`m using a 5 speed G50 in my GT40 build, I`m looking for advice and/or drawings from anyone who may have fabricated the mount I`m looking for help or drawings from trans to chassis mounts
thanks Kent
There is a french man there with athread named" Gt 40 Riviera built "or something similar in where you will find pictures of mounts plus a lot of drawings for the shift system and flywheel adaptation if needed
Hi Kent
This is a mount made from 3mm plate for a G50/01 in a DRB chassis. It sits on an original late 60's Ford gearbox rubber mount. I have changed transmissions so it is no longer required and free to a good home. However the freight may be more than its worth.
If you want a better photo or dimensions so you can make one yourself I'm happy to help

Not sure what you mean by the mount you are looking for; here's what I have done - seems to have worked out. I used a plate mounted to the trans and attached radius rods to it and the chassis, also made a cradle to hold my mufflers - uses a SS strap to hold them securely.
