Great reasons NOT to own a GT40.....

I once had a gas station attendant explain to me that my Pantera was actually a Ferrari... he knew this for sure because he used to work at Ferrari of Houston... I'm sure that the GT40 would be mistakenly identified as anything but a Ford... every time it hits the road.. maybe not to your face, but in most every car in the oncoming traffic and every "enthusiast' driving behind/beside the lengendary Ford...

I'd also not like to have one... just to annoy all the Cobra/Shelby enthusiast... 'cause they'd wanna be tellin' me that my GT40 didn't come stock with a stroked 351W and some kinda trick (Motec) EFI...

There's all kinds of reason I shouldn't own one...

The only reason I can think of not to have, or in my case, be building a 40, is when the wife sends your three year old daughter into the garage to `help` and `keep you company` (this means to leave the wife in peace to watch the soaps) and then expects you to stop her from constantly trying maim herself with the wonderfull assortment of leathal things she can get her little hands on while your trying to get something done for once /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif
