GT 40s admin sending out virus to my mailbox!

I have received 2 emails from this address [email protected]
with a virus that my Norton detected and deleted.
I'm sorry I didnt note the virus file name, If it hits me again I will post name, Dan . PS Also sent email to Ron Earp .

It's probably from someone else who has both you and [email protected] in their address book.

Most viruses try to hide their identity by borrowing the email address of someone else in the infected host's address book. This makes it harder to trace back the source of the email.

FAr as I know nothing is amiss and the site hasn't been hacked. But, BenL is correct in how that works. Somebody whom you've corresponded with on this board has received their password or registration from this site, or, has sent me an email. That person's computer has a virus and has picked the admin address to place in the "From" spot on the email. It isn't coming from here, I imagine if you check the message header in detail you'll find out where it comes from.
