i ran across a GT40 on friday in a car show. it's a FAV(florida advanced vehicles). Nick, the distributor, took me for a ride the next day and i can say that with a 302 with 350 hp it felt great. it has an audi box and the car is very well finished. it comes built already exept for the motor. it even brings the tranny, A/C, etc. the price wasn't that bad. it's 58k and all you need is a crate motor and you are done. you can be driving in a week. the car seems to be a CAV because the rear uprights had those lettes in the casting but the vin plate said GTD 40. he also said that the cars came from south africa. seems like a great car and a good deal for all that you get. the site is www.fav-gt40.com
