GT40 for Men!

Hi Guys,
Does anyone do a GT40 kit that will accept a 6' 2" driver? I Know that Clarkson found the answer with the new Ford offering, so have any of the kit producers followed the example or is it still 'midgets' only.

Welcome to GT40s Stu..

I have an RCR40 and am 6'3+ tall and fit with ample headroom and no gurney bubble. Fran Hall (RCR Owner) has had customers as tall as 6'6" tall without the bubble as I recall. Hopefully Fran can chime in here and set the record straight..

Welcome Stu

I'm 6'3" and fit in a Dax
I have seen Chris Edwards - taller than me fit in a KVA - in fact I sat in it and the pedals were too far forward for my liking
I've seen pictures of a good looking 6'2" lady sitting comfortably in a CAV

Others
GTD - I belive the tallest I have seen in one of them is 6'1"
Tornado about 6' but I was told up to 6'4" can be accommodated

Sorry not seen the innards of an RCR so cannot comment

Hi Stuart

I am 6'2'' and own a GTD40. I fit in and can drive for hours at a time in comfort. Its not a rolls royce, but then i don't want it to be one. Its often said you don't get in to a GT40, you wear it........................

Welcome to the site.

Every GT40 replica on the market can accommodate larger drivers using a variety of means - dropped floors, different seats, extended pedal boxes, etc. Not an issue. Plenty of 6'4" drivers in EVERY type of GT40 made.
