GT40 Virgin arrives from the land of Subaru

First post in this forum to say hello to everyone.

Im 36 and have finally decided to follow up on one of my lifetime goals - to own a GT40 Replica.

I am not in the least bit technical so I will be looking to purchase something that requires little or no 'building'. Im sure this BBS is going to be an absolute godsend!

I have read a few GT40 books (Still cant find that elusive £40 copy of 'The Ford that beat Ferrari' though!) and cannot decide which version model to aim for.

Look forward to perhaps meeting some of you UK drivers at events in the future.

Mak welcome aboard. This forum is an excellent source of info. Like you I'm not the least bit mechanical. So I was in the same boat as you. Look up my old thread "CAV GT40" and you will find lots of comments on the same issue. My final choice for my specific needs and wants was the CAV. It arrived yesterday and I'm absolutely ecstatic(sp?)
