There is no price on 1108, but if one looks at the prices for their MB cars, nothing they sell will go cheap.

Nice find. The car is beautifully turned out. It looks like this one was converted from LHD to RHD if I'm reading the German correctly.

The various registries all seem to agree that it was originally an unfinished LHD chassis, purchased as a project in 1971 along with 1109 (which was a RHD chassis) via JWA. The owner then sold both cars to David Piper in 1972. Both were completed by Piper in RHD specification, and then later in 1972 this car was sold to a buyer in Germany, who has owned and driven it the entire time, until now.
2005 unsold at £ 300 000 approx !
