GTD for sale

As many of you know, I was forced into selling my Blue GTD earlier this year, due to a business venture. Sadly this didn't come off at the time, so I treated myself to another GTD. I've now decided I need to put the money into something else, so ufortunatly it has to go.
I (somewhat foolishly) bought the car a while ago still registered as a "Granada Ghia". After much to-ing and fro-ing with the DVLA, it is now correctly registered as a GTD.
I have spent a considerable sum on the car, renewing various parts (all steering/front suspension bearings, including rack) as well as many other modifications.
The car has a Ford "GT40" crate engine with a roller cam, a Renault 25 Turbo gearbox with an AP clutch, as well as all the usual GTD parts.
The car is in excellent condition and any potential purchaser is welcome to inspect the car in the finest detail. I have removed the seat runners and moved the steering wheel slightly to give me more room in the cockpit (those who know me will tell you I need it!!)
I would happily get in this car and drive it anywhere. Indeed, last weekend I drove the 240 miles down to the Exeter kit car show from home, and 240 miles back the next day without the car missing a single beat. despite it being down to -5 on the way home, the car was warm and toasty, and I drove the whole way in a T-shirt (not good when you get out to fill up!)
The car has almost a years MOT (passed with flying colours) and five months tax
It is painted in Porche Guards red.
I'm not in any mad rush to sell the car, but am looking for sensible offers.
Should anyone want to ask any questions/make any comments,or would like to see more pictures, please feel free to PM me or email on [email protected]

Howard,
this is one of Simon's car at the Exeter Show, hope it's what you want.
Simon, nice to meet you at the show beside your 40. Didn't introduce myself properly I don't think. It's a lovely car and I would be tempted myself if I didn't have the KVA to build. Would be nice to get a sorted, on the road, no problems car.

The cars not even sold and I'm missing it. just looking at it in the garage makes me realise I really NEEEEED this car. I've decided not to sell. Of course things sometimes do change, but for the time being at least I'm going to stay a '40 owner /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

As a matter of interest Simon, what was your reserve price on EBay? I know someone that made some bids. Acedemic now of course. I quite understand if you don't want to let on. I told him I reckon £25k.
