GTD rear calipers

On an old GTD that’s had a “drum to disc” conversion (Cosworth calipers from memory)
Would it be possible to just unbolt the hub and reattach it 180degrees around to bring the caliper to the top?
Dragging the collective memory banks but the reason will become clear in the fullness of time……..

If the bolt pattern allows it, yes. Keep in mind you have to bleed the brakes after. Some will say caliper reaction on the suspension is different but for normal driving, never be noticed.

Thanks Mike, I put Hi-Spec calipers on the front of the car way back in 2004-5, I guess it would make sense to match up the rears. Simon
