Hi my name is Keith and i am from Melbourne Australia,new to gt40s as i have allways loved them. I have found a car witch i am hoping to purchase it is a Phil Ware kit from New Zealand,as i don't know alot about gt40s i was hoping you guys could tell me a bit of this make of kit.

The last owner of the GT40NZ operation (now defuct) was Dave Harvey, currently in the Nelson area and he is now into T70's. At one stage he still had some left over bits.

Phil Ware owned the GT40NZ operation before selling it to Dave Harvey

A question for the Australian members can you register them with 5.0 windsor efi,
or do you need to go with 5.4l i am in victoria

A question for the Australian members can you register them with 5.0 windsor efi,

The rules in Vic have very recently changed, you can use a 5.4 mod or 5.0 efi engine in an ICV so long as during certification it passes an IM240 emissions test which is an abreviated snap shot of the ADR37/01 test BUT it must pass at 1/2 the ADR37/01 limits which they say compensates for the fact that you are not runnig through the cold start portion of the full test.

Good condition ADR79/01-2 5.4s should be fine but 302's will be much harder to get through.
