I am a long-time gear head even though I have been out of the game for over 20 years since moving overseas from the US. The wifey and I plan on returning permanently in 2~3 years back to Kentucky. I have already gotten the clearance to acquiring parts towards the purchase of an RCR GTR or SLC build - she's my head mechanic. 
I am here to seek knowledge from other builders in hopes of avoiding pitfalls and ill-timed expectancies that come from a project such as building a GT-40 or SLC.
