Dave, a note of caution, When you shift the bearing position rearwards as you have with washers it puts a lot more load on the carrier in back of crank and tends to 'walk out' of the crank in use. Better way is to fabricate a carrier that is supported by the ID of the flywheel as well as the crank spigot bore to keep the loads in the correct plane.
