How to Connect end of Throttle cable to Carb?

Or in my case Efi?

Well I have a lever on the throttle spindle
On this there was a holed bolt that the cable passed through and was clamped either side by a nut.

Worked well but over 3 years of use the cable cried enough as it had been continually bent back and forth at the nut pinch point and everyone knows what happens whena wire is continually bent - it lets go!

well I bodged together another piece of cable for last weekend and made it back from the Spit and Cough but how best to stop this all happening again?

I presume it should be some type of clevis onto the arm and the cable clamped / nippled to the clevis but I cannot find any clevis that allows for a cable to be connected.

Seems stupid that after a week of searching I had not asked the question here in the first place

Ian, you need to change that bicycle cable you call a throttle cable for a decent one, with proper swivel connectors each end. I can put you in contact with suppliers, Frank
