I don't know about you guys, but if I ever need open heart surgery, I sure as hell don't want the "D" student (or one that did not think that knowing enough to pass his medical exams to be necessary) working on me!!!!

I agree, but I think you missed the point, the vid is saying to me pursue what you enjoy and what you are good at and don't be burdened by exams that are not part of your personal choice. If you want to be a cardiologist sure you will have to study and pass exams. But you need not study meteorology.
I also think it is dangerous because it will give kids the excuse to do nothing and
Not bother with education at all.
Which is why I asked for comments.

Al you got me thinking there.

Post # 3. As for remembering a fact for a test 5 minutes after the question needed answering, in the real world, that is what separates the quick from the dead.

For a few days this thought has stuck with me. I am one who can think of the best answers AFTER the event, but right there at the moment of conversation or test I slam closed. Now, no matter how much I do education or training , I still can not get the BEST answer in that instance. Can always think of a better response afterwards.

Guess dumb stays dumb. I was forced / compelled to do subjects I had zero interest in. Was told ONE-DAY-FAR -in -the -Future I will benefit from that. Well that day have not arrived yet.

Any how I think Al is correct.
