ID help please

Hi everyone. I found this and was wondering if someone here could tell me a little about this model/version. I would love to have a GT40 but I don't know anything about them. Any help on model, value, usual build specs, or just general info would be greatly appreciated. The seller says it is titled as a VW if that helps. Behind where the front seats are suppose to be there are (what looks like) rear seat places in the fiberglass. I really have no clue, so if you don't mind the typing, I would really appreciate all the details. He has a cheap price on it and all the glass is there. If more pics are needed just tell me what of and I will get them asap. If you know the value, could you please tell me if there is a resale value from finishing it and fixing it up. I just don't want to put a lot of work into something that will appreciate to worthless.

The guy either doesn't know what he has and is treating it like garbage, or he knows what he has and is treating it accordingly.

I'd say Fiberfab Avenger/Valkyrie.......it looks like the body only, is the frame available?

Somebody seems to have chopped up the front end so it will clamshell. I don't remember ever seeing that before. The Avengers could have been VW or Corvair powered, the Valkyries were mid-engine V-8 powered. If it's titled as a VW, that would make it the Avenger model.

It looks like it would take more to bring it to life than you could get for it, most assuredly if you need a chassis and drivetrain for it. I've passed up two similar VW powered vehicles in complete/running condition, one for $1200 and the other for $3000.

That's just my best guess, others may be more knowledgable than me.

If you just wanted something to piddle with, it might be an OK project, but I doubt you could turn a profit if you're planning on reselling it.

Not a GT40, A loose interpretation & attempt to make something like one, cant remember what they were called, Kellison, Valkrie are some names that come to mind, think they used a Mustang screen or something like that... what you see is what you get!!

Thanks guys. There is no chassis, or drivetrain at all. Apparently not as cheep as I thought at $1000 so I will pass on it. Oh well, that's why I asked.
