Hi fellow DRB owner/builders. I just got word that my newly ordered build is designated as Chassis # 83. I am glad to see so many owners who are happy clever with the things they have done. Very inspirational.

Wow !

Wasn't that long ago I took delivery of # 49...Peter is doing good...too bad the US exchange rate is so high....I'd love to see more DRB's in the US.

Yeah, I figured I'd better jump in the frey before it gets too expensive just to ship!

Congrats Pete
and welcome to the DRB fold. What sort of delivery time have you
been given? I've been really enjoying my build and was suprised when
the car turned up how well the panel gaps were done.

Thanks Dave,

I think I'm looking at around Jan or Feb then shipping to Seattle which will take about 30 days. I purchased the basic chassis and body set. I envy you that are in Australia as far as shipping goes...maybe not as far as ADR though. Sounds pretty strict.

Congrats, Pete!

Between Neal, Cliff, you and I, it looks like there';s going to be a small herd of GT's in the Northwest - what are the chances you'll have in on the road in '07?

Regards,

T.

Way to go Pete! I know of two more scratch builders in the area that are not yet on the road so the count is up to six. Let me know if you need any help with customs. Time for a NW garage tour...

Thanks to all,

I am so looking forward to the challenges ahead but also confident of the help from this forum. I don't think I'll have the car done in '07. I'm going to be conservative at this point till I actually get her here on our soil, so I'll say sometime in '09.
