That's a shame, but I wonder if the 'real' value is in the Intellectual Property Rights which seems to be held separately?
Also, composites are still trading it would appear, so, not entirely gone and perhaps we will see Lola Cars (2013) Ltd arising out of this.
I can't help thinking that that market must be very tough now and with little or no diversification and so much competition, Lola somehow missed the boat and perhaps should have also gone down the McLaren style road car route as a 'bread and butter' product. Such an iconic marque would surely have been attractive.
Still, I think Martin achieved quite a lot for the brand in his time..
