Lotus transaxels

I have a shot at one of the transaxels used by Lotus from when they were active in racing several years ago. I don't have any serial numbers yet, but I plan to talk to Lotus about the units and how much power they will handle. Anyone know much about these units???

It'll be an uprated Renault unit I imagine, might be wrong but that's what they used in Esprits.

I have a couple of mails from Lotus on my PC in work on this. It is a Renault transaxle. I'll get the details tomorrow.
