I’ve been trying to find the low profile GM OEM C6 oil pan everyone uses for the LS3. It’s discontinued. Even Improved Performance no longer carries one. The few GM original parts that are possibly available are ~$500 or so. There seem to be plenty of aftermarket ones, but I know nothing about their quality. Anyone have a rec for a decently made low profile pan kit (scraper, pickup, etc) for the Gen IV LS 6.2? Don’t care if it’s the GM one, just quality that won’t fail & dump oil, or starve the engine.

Are you looking for the "batwing" version with the side extensions to act as baffles? If not, I am running this conventional style pan:

That’s the discontinued model, yes. Not the batwing.
The ~$150 ones that are everywhere?
Not sure I like that style, I’d prefer the cleaner “squared up” pan, but if push comes to shove I’ll look for those.

Yes. It’s a simple aluminum casting with a milled top. Hard to mess them up. If you’re worried about leaks a little gasket sealer goes a long way.
