I posted the Allard because it was just so nice. I am posting this Merak because it is just so damned unusual. I doubt if it is worth anywhere near the almost $18K Buy It Now price, even if you purchased the optional $1K original V6 that came out of it, but I really don't know.

hope someone will have the piety to restore this car as it was in the origin.
the Merak was a wonderful italian car..and was a true Maserati, mostly handmade.
Use violence on her with an unoriginal engine (also if I love huge american engine)is a shame...
...and even more call that a kitcar

thanks god there is a lot of people that takes such horrors and regive theme a real life (and a real value).

The Dakota Digital dash struck me as being equally or even more out of place than the American V8 in this car!
