Michelin TB15 Tires - Anyone using

Can anyone report on actual useage of the TB15s? Handling, WEAR?

Please advise. Actually putting on my GP IV pantera.

I had them once on my GT40.
Great tires on grip but need appropriate dimensions and they have a short live.

Hi Lee--long time no hear! How have you been?

A friend in the UK has them on his Pantera GT5. They work GREAT. Super-sticky. They will throw up rocks which could star the paint so you might want to consider heavy undercoating in the wheelwells and underside of the flares. Not the best in rain, but you're in San Diego, where that is a foreign concept. :laugh:

Their lifespan isn't that great, but how many miles are you likely to put on the car anyway? The tires will likely time out before they would wear out. Send me an e-mail at my address below and I'll put you in touch with Geoff for a first-person account.

Also, a PCNC member bought a set a few weeks ago, and discovered it was actually cheaper to buy them in England (from Longstone Tyres I think?), including shipping, customs etc. than it would be to buy them from a US source--go figure??? :huh: I'll put you in touch with him as well once I hear from you.

(We now return the rest of you to your previously scheduled GT40 programming...) :laugh:
