Just a quick note !!!!
On the cover of the May 2003 Street Rodder, there is a picture of a GT40 roadster. After a little digging in the magazine there is a article about Dean Jefferies. On page 252 it has a little more information.
" He's currently working on restoring his ultra-rare and original GT40 roadster (Jeffries got it back in 1965 after it raced at LeMans). It should be ready for its unveiling at the Pebble Beach Concours D' Elegance later this year, so look for even more press on Jeffries when this happens." I am not going to be able to make the show, but if someone would post pictures of this car and the other GT40's afterwards, that would be great. There is also a footnote, under a picture of the roadster, that states that he is installing a DOHC engine in it. There is also an article on Fords centennial celebration. On page 119 it shows a picture of (3) GT 40s at LeMans (1966) in the rain, and a shot of the new 40.
I just thought you guys might like the info.
