Mk1 rear wheel arches?

Hi all after long time, no writing here but working.

I have mk1 "medium wide" rear clip in car, story goes it`s original (shape) from 1967-68, for 10.0" -10.5" wheels. Width is around 182 cm / 72.5".
I have other clips, but they are same width or wider (Gulf).
For FIA HTP wheels must be F/R 6.5"/8.0", so clip is too wide, at least 1.5"-2" per side.

Original idea was "cut and glue" it, but it`s easier said than done.
Of course, you can buy the entire narrow rear cover, but the shipping and fitting to the body structure may cause big problems...
Seems that a cost-effective and ideal way would be to find side area parts from a narrower rear clip (-> have them made if someone has a mold).
There is work ahead in any case, but that is not a problem.

Any suggestions or ideas?

TIA

The easiest way would be to install new arches. This was just done on original car putting it back from a race car to a street car however Bill Hough is no longer making parts so the probably easiest one to get it from would be Gelsco
