I've never seen a pic. of that car. An interesting twist on the Lotus 7 style. I was surfing the site & ran across this thread. I'd think the 40 could certainly get warm in the summer being rather small area of the interior. I think I'd hinge the window at the top with a latch at the bottom. They could actually open all the way if properly designed. Make it easier when you go through the drive up window for that big gulp & a burrito:lipsrsealed: LOL

Basically the windows move out before dropping, should work for the gt40 too which also suffers from the windows being at the wrong angle to slide straight down.

Going a 2005GT would c ost alot more... still be a larger wheelbase, still be a worse performing car than the GT40 would be... this is why Im happier to go with the GT40

George, a modern GT will outperform a GT40 in just about every category I can think save rattling, shaking, making lots of racket, and being hot as hell inside. There the GT40 would still be king...


Is GMan still around and did he ever get his uber GT40?
