The "Dealer Source Book" inserts have been received from Ford and they confirm the "certified horsepower" is rated at 550. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Also it speaks of a "transaxle cooler" that will be a dealer option...HMMMNNN, can't cost very much /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Also curb weight is confirmed at 3350.

And from the info, I quote FoMoCo "While you may be tempted to sell scarce allocation at a premium, be sure to keep long-term customer relationship in mind. If you are selling a Ford GT to a business owner, you may earn additional vehicle purchases (either personal or business) if you use the sale to reward then for their current business or to build a new relationship"

Souds like a good word of advice to some dealers, others will ignore this...still if you pay an extra 5 or 10K to get the first car it may be worth it, 30 or 40....I don't think so. JMHO...

One mistake made in the info states that the GT was concieved in 1962 correct) but first ran at LeMans in 1965 when we all know they were there in '64 (not too sucessful, but they were fast..)
