Most (more) accurate dash?

SPF MKII is currently being built (still in SA, but will go to Olthoff), and one thing I've realized--I don't like the dash (the layout and overall feel). Wanted to ask if anyone can point me in the right direction of who makes and sells a more accurate/original style dash that I can use instead. My preference would be Gelscoe/GM Automotive Engineering, but they haven't returned my emails, and not sure they make a LHD dash anyway.

@DakotaGT : I saw that Ted Baird replaced his SPF dash with something else, but haven't been able to determine what. Any chance you could give some insight?

Generally, I don't care for the overall layout, but my understanding is also that the SPF dash is made from a different material (coated ABS plastic) than the originals (fiberglass, I think). The SPF dash feels too modernized, which probably works for most people, but if I can make a change, I'd prefer to do it when Olthoff has the car, rather than after its complete.

Central console is different as they added ignition lock. Different vents. Other than that looks more or less the same? Original did not have that good finish.

The toolroom dash will require a LOT of changes to the wiring. If a toolroom owner purchases a copy of my SUPERFORMANCE Wiring Diagram, I caution them regarding the differences in wiring. The MKI and MKII manuals are geared for the non-toolroom cars but still of interest to the Toolroom customer. But they might be able to swap harness sections too.

Speaking from experience - skip the AMP gauge and find a suitable Voltmeter. There are some that look very much like the original Amp gauge, but I couldn’t tell you where to find them right-off..

Tool room dash and MK II dash layouts are completely different. Gauges, switches, lights, layout, switch plates, etc.

Recommend calling Adam Christian from Llama Bite. He can provide guidance and parts for the MKII. He is a MKII expert.

I am intimately familiar with both cars.

No LHD "tool room" as it didn't exist in date.

I should probably clarify that I'm not so much concerned with the gauge, switch, and light layout, as I am getting the most accurate shape and material of the dash itself. If any layout changes need to be made, my plan is to address with Olthoff during install, and they'll take the laboring oar on wiring.

I think there's an appreciable difference between the material of the original fiberglass dash and what SPF is doing now. For the shape, it looks like the SPF tool room dash gets it more correct than the standards. Maybe the fix is just chopping the lower portions of the standard dash off, but if we're getting into modifications like that, I'd rather try and source one from somewhere else that is correct and also fiberglass.
