National Railway Museum - York

I am thinking about having a short break and visiting the National Railway Museum in York (England). This is a two day visit as I also want to go on the steam train from York to Scarborough leaving in the morning and returning to York late in the afternoon and having a decent lunch in Scarborough.
The Flying Scotsman (LNER 4-6-2 Class A3 Pacific No 4472) is being restored in the hall known as 'The Works' and is approaching a £1.2m boiler refit this year and into next year. It is intended to finish it by 2010 but I think that might be optimistic. There are three halls and so much to see.
If nothing else, it's a short sojourn with a bit of engineering interest thrown in and a few bevvies along the way. Is it of interest to any of you guys??
