I wouldn't be that concerned about ending up with a car drives like a pendulum simply by using a ricardo instead of a ZF - we're talking perhaps 55lbs, and that 55lbs is going to be spready some fore of the CVs/hubs and some aft. Yes, proportionally that will put some more weight over the rear wheels than the front v. a ZF car but it's not that dramatically more. Consider a 911 that has the whole damn engine and half the transaxle hanging out back behind of the CVs/hubs - yes, the early 911s had a severe pendulum effect but over time the car became quite manageable. So, net, I think what we're talking about here with a Ricardo v. ZF (still with the whole engine and half the transaxle ahead of the CVs/hubs) is pretty inconsequential in this regard.
