New guy from Houston, TX

Howdy y'all! I've been a long time reader of the forum and will be moving forward in 2025 to start my build process. I reside in the northern region of the greater Houston area. I work as an engineer providing solutions to major oil companies which is pretty stereotypical for a guy from Texas. While growing up as a kid I recall seeing a GT40 cruising through the desert roads of Arizona and it was my first time seeing something exotic like that. Later in life I would wander over to a neighbors garage who was always working on Mustangs which were always cool to see but then one day he had a bunch of boxes and a fresh chassis from Factory Five and that was my original intro to the idea of a kit car build.

Howdy Abe. Cletus here, I live in Santa Fe, Texas just south of Houston. That was not me in Arizona, however I used to live just north of Tucson. How's your build going? I have a GT40 replica, I seem to be always working on. We will have to meet up some time.

Magnolia Checking in. I'm stuck on transaxle but have an angle.

Recently saw there's also a guy in Lake Jackson.

Been waiting more than 2 years for my Mendiola.

Working on a Tremec 9080 now. I have a 427 I'm putting turbos on, so a boxter transaxle isn't going to work.

But I'm not the new guy here. Just piping up that there's a few of us around Houston.

He's been done with it for a while, and hven't heard from him lately, but Don Nye used to live in Cypress and built one.
